Conn. House Approves Bill to Let Nonprofits Buy into State Employee Insurance Program

June 6, 2011; Source: | In Connecticut, where health care insurance premiums have in the past decade risen 100 percent while salaries have only risen by one third, the House has passed a bill that would allow employees of nonprofits and municipalities to buy into the state employee insurance program.
