October 5, 2011; Source: Melbourne Herald Sun | Mick Gatto, a notorious underworld figure in Australia, recently placed the high bid of $10,000 at a charity auction to dine with Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, only to have the invitation rescinded. But far from being dissuaded from his charitable mission, wiseguy Gatto, one of the last survivors of the gangland wars in Melbourne, has put lunch with himself up for bids to benefit the Gold Coast Hospital and Guide Dogs Queensland.
