I wanted to share an article of my own with you today. It is titled “Use It or Lose It: Frittering Away Civil Society’s Strategic Advantage,” and, essentially, it is about civil society’s potential to be the most influential sector in re-making the world.

But that potential will remain out of our grasp so long as we do not understand where our power lies, and why our core purpose of organizing people in their own best interests is so acutely and uniquely suited to taking power over the frameworks of this era.

Since I wrote this article, which was in the fall edition of the print publication, the elections have occurred, and, if anything, I am more than ever convinced that this moment presents an opportunity for citizen (of the world) action that is unprecedented, in my experience.

Please let me know what you think.
