    Unfortunately, this flattering piece omits that Goff was most interested in liberating trust assets from obsolete philanthropic intent so he could make more fees as a banker with the various transactions. Curiously omitted is the competition for status, attention, and donations with the Community Chest (now the United Way) that was also founded in Cleveland the year before.
