    As I read through your letter, I couldn’t help but notice the use of your language about your “power” and “authority” over staff. I wonder how this might be influencing your approach to your position up and down your organization chart.

    I’d recommend a deep dive into self-knowledge around your own leadership. Two books you might want to start with are Stewardship, by Peter Block and The Leadership Challenge by Kouzes and Pozner. After that, I’d also strongly suggest Reframing Organizations by Bolman and Deal.
