David Radcliffe grew up in a small factory town in western Pennsylvania. He started his career as a community organizer and now serves as the state and local policy director for the Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy at the New School for Social Research. Previously, he was policy director for the Office of Connecticut State Treasurer, where he championed the implementation of the country’s first “Baby Bonds” wealth-building initiative. He has also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
