Dr. Perez is the Founder and Principal of Latino Futures – Consulting & Think Tank Project. She concentrates on Latino entrepreneurship; equity; leadership; philanthropy; and prosperity. She collaborates with non-profits, philanthropy, and business leaders as a strategic advisor. She is a convener, bringing together leaders across sectors to develop innovative ideas and actionable plans to build socio-economic prosperity in the U.S. Dr. Perez’s is an author, her publications appear in academic books and journals, and in Stanford Social Innovation Review, among others. She earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from The University of Chicago. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
