Sarah Kastelic (Alutiiq) is executive director of the National Indian Child Welfare Association, a Portland-based nonprofit that works to support the safety, health, and spiritual strength of American Indian and Alaska Native children along the broad continuum of their lives; and serves on the board of Independent Sector, the only national membership organization that brings together a diverse set of nonprofits, foundations, and corporations to advance the common good.
