

Dan De Vries had a twenty-five year career as a development professional in the San Francisco Bay Area and Oregon. He retired from the profession in 2009. He worked in a wide variety of nonprofit and university office settings including as Development Writer at Stanford Business School and Development Director at the National Center for Youth Law. He retired from the profession in 2009. His published writing includes a short story cycle titled That Treeplanting Story. He currently volunteers for Project Coyote and the election security nonprofit Scrutineers. He lives in San Francisco.
