

Jamie is a multicultural native of Pueblo Colorado and a parent and grandparent with roots going back several generations in southern Colorado. He is a former President of the CSU-Pueblo chapter of El Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA), a national student organization, and is currently employed as the Colorado Community Organizer for Mothers Out Front. Having come from racial and economic justice movements, environmental justice is a natural progression for Jamie and he approaches all his work with an eye toward equity, justice, and inclusivity.
