Mary Sutton, social activist and artist, designed Collective REMAKE as a master’s student in the Urban Sustainability Program at Antioch University Los Angeles. She now works full time to move the project forward. She helps design cooperative education programs, raise funds, and implement democratic participatory practices. Sutton has over 18 years’ experience in nonprofit management, development, and programming and is currently a PhD student in the Graduate School for Leadership and Change at Antioch University.
