Michelle is the former Managing Editor at the Nonprofit Quarterly. Prior to joining the editorial team at NPQ, Michelle was Senior Assistant Editor of differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies, where she continues to serve on the editorial board. From 2019 to 2021, Michelle taught courses on literature, film, psychoanalytic theory, and writing at Emerson College in Boston. She previously held editorial roles at NOVEL: A Forum on Fiction and Political Concepts: A Critical Lexicon. Michelle is a PhD Candidate in English at Brown University, where she has taught writing and literature courses since 2015. Her writing has appeared in various peer-reviewed journals.
