Saadia Van Winkle runs communications strategy for several organizations in the economic justice space. Before starting her own firm, she led communications for the Economic Security Project—overseeing media strategy around guaranteed income pilots, cash policies, and narrative change. She is a former television reporter and current writer and is finishing a memoir about her family’s experience immigrating from Pakistan and the related domestic violence case that changed the United States’ spousal rape laws.
