Scarlet Kim is the former Director of Operations, bringing in more than 15 years of experience in media, finance, and organizational development. But after over 10 years at NPQ, she has now moved on to new ventures. Scarlet holds a Master’s degree in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Anthropology from American University in Washington, D.C. She began her media career in advertising with a focus on client finance before joining NPQ in the spring of 2015. Over the past decade, she has played a central role in strengthening NPQ’s operational infrastructure and supporting its mission through strategic and day-to-day management. Originally from the Bronx in New York City, her fun fact is that she loves to eat Ethiopian food.
