Tonie Marie Gordon is the Senior Editor, Health Justice at NPQ. She earned both her doctorate and master’s degree in sociology from the University of Virginia. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in professional writing and editing from Youngstown State University. As a multidisciplinary sociologist, her work bridges the social and humanistic sciences with the natural sciences and the humanities. As a writer, researcher, and speaker, she focuses on the intersections of science, technology, health, education, and societal inequalities.
