October 21, 2010; Source: Progressive Media International | These are challenging times for print publications, but that hasn’t deterred the publisher of Britain’s New Statesman from launching Charity Insight, a monthly magazine and website serving the country’s nonprofit executives, civil servants and politicians. Editor Becky Slack said “our mission is to inform, inspire and influence charities by providing them with the research, analysis and opinion they need in order to bring about positive change for society. Both the magazine and website will be packed full of statistics and analysis that will provide readers with a rigorous examination of the sector’s activities, opportunities and challenges.” We applaud all efforts to disseminate research-based information to help guide those who work in the sector.—Timothy Lyster
