Nonprofit Newswire | “Don’t Drink that Dirty Water”—UNICEF’s Social Marketing Campaign

James David Morgan
July 20, 2010

July 19, 2010; Source: Osocio | UNICEF is making a splash in NYC with its new social marketing campaign. The vending machines dispense eight flavors of dirty water: cholera, dengue, dysentery, hepatitis, malaria, salmonella and yellow fever. Purchases of the bottled water (which, for the sake of clarity, do not actually contain the aforementioned diseases) count as donations to UNICEF, helping the organization to fight the water related diseases that kill more than 4,000 children around the world daily.—James David Morgan
