May 24, 2011; Source: celebs.gather.com | The Westboro Baptist Church decided to heckle comedienne Lisa Lampanelli at her show in Topeka, Kansas on Saturday apparently because she has loads of gay fans and has been trading barbs with them on Twitter. (She says WBC stands for, “We be in da closet.”) Lampanelli, however, was unfazed by their protest, promising them that she would donate $1,000 to Gay Men’s Health Crisis for each WBC member present. Lucky GMHC will now be $50,000 richer courtesy of the WBC. Nice move – charity as payback.—Ruth McCambridge
