Susan Nall Bales is founder and board chair of the FrameWorks Institute, an independent nonprofit research organization founded in 1999 to advance the nonprofit sector’s communications capacity by identifying, translating, and modeling relevant scholarly research for framing the public discourse about social problems. A veteran communications strategist and issues campaigner, she has more than thirty years of experience researching, designing, and implementing campaigns on social issues.
