Nonprofit Newswire | Bomb Squad Demolishes Devout’s Donation

Ruth McCambridge
May 11, 2010

May 10, 2010; NBC2 News.com | Over the weekend a 40 pound box package marked only “for Pastor Nick” was humbly left at a local church where church workers discovered it, and drove it to the nearest police station where it was promptly blown up by the bomb squad. All that remained of the $2,700 donation were some rolled coins. I guess our question is why they got in the car with it if it seemed so sketchy? Luckily the U.S. Treasury will replace the money.—Ruth McCambridge
