July 13, 2010; Source: NDTV | Apparently the Village People have drawn the line at re-naming their hit song, YMCA, as the equally well-known nonprofit YMCA, in a fit of “branding”, changes its name to a more concise “Y”. In an act of rebellion the Village People have vowed to continue to perform all four letters of their song in their performances.
