January 30, 2012; Source: The Guardian | In the wake of a number of Occupy clashes and evictions over the weekend, the Guardian has established a wiki map that exhibits all of the still-active Occupy protest locations, along with a list of locations. The headline for the data blog is “Occupy movement: Help us map which protests are still active.” The map is color-coded to show sites that are still active as opposed to closed down. It is a breathtaking sight, not only because it is well populated, but also because it is a collaborative effort.
