    Um, no it doesn’t. Businesses weigh in all the time, and did so well before Citizens United, about laws that in their opinion either empower their work or hinder their work, such as “right-to-work” laws, wage and hour laws, tax policy, minimum wage, and yes, anti-discrimination laws.

    It is the politicians who have made that work a political issue by trying to pander to their base and further their careers (guess it worked (so far) for Mike Pence; we’ll see how it works for Pat McCrory), and the business’ obligation to speak out when what the politicians are doing harms their business interests.
