Alanna Irving builds open-source tools and communities for radical participation and collaboration. She is COO of Open Collective and Executive Director of Open Collective Foundation. She co-founded Enspiral; Loomio; Cobudget; the Open Source, Open Society conference; and Dark Crystal. She co-authored the book Better Work Together. Originally from San Francisco, she lives in Wellington, New Zealand, with her partner, children, and little black cat.
