Andrew Crosson is the founding CEO of Invest Appalachia, a regional investment collective designed to strengthen the existing ecosystem and plug critical capital gaps to support an equitable and sustainable economic future. Working alongside community-based partners, Invest Appalachia’s blended capital platform combines an impact fund of repayable investment with a pool of grant-like “catalytic” capital to strengthen capacity in the ecosystem, build a more inclusive pipeline of projects, and de-risk high-impact deals through credit enhancements and non-extractive financing.
