Dr. Sekou Siby is president and CEO of Restaurant Opportunities Centers (ROC) United. Born in the Côte d’Ivoire, he immigrated to New York City in the 1990s, where he first worked as a cab driver, then as a cook at the Windows on the World at the World Trade Center at the time of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He later became a co-founder of ROC United.
