EJ Juárez is executive director of State Innovation Exchange (SiX), the nation’s largest people-centered home for state legislators, connecting courage, care, and collaboration into lasting policy and systems change. Previously, he was director of equity, environmental justice, and civil rights at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, helping embed environmental justice in state decision-making. He also served as public policy manager at Group Health Foundation (now Inatai Foundation), led partnerships at the Seattle Public Library, and was executive director of Amplify/ColorPAC, recruiting and electing progressive candidates.
