Jeffrey MacKeigan, PhD, is a senior advisor for Michigan State University Office of Research and Innovation. He also serves as a senior fellow for research infrastructure in the Office of Research and Innovation, and professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development in the MSU College of Human Medicine. MacKeigan’s research uses a variety of cutting-edge technologies, combined with tumor cell biology and drug discovery expertise to study complex diseases. The MacKeigan laboratory has been awarded over 35 externally funded research grants, many from the National Institutes of Health, including the National Cancer Institute.
