Josh Shepperd is an associate professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is author of Shadow of the New Deal: The Victory of Public Broadcasting (University of Illinois Press, 2023), which was recognized by five book awards in 2024. Josh additionally designs public projects for the Library of Congress. He serves as national director of the Library of Congress Sound Submissions Project and Radio Preservation Task Force, and is the senior faculty research advisor of the National Recording Preservation Foundation.
