"Karen Topakian, owner of Topakian Communications, is a writer, speaker, communications consultant and activist. She has worked in the advocacy wing of the non-profit world for her professional life serving as a Greenpeace nuclear disarmament campaigner and as the executive director of the Agape Foundation. Karen co-chaired SF Fundraising Day, served on the event committee for SF National Philanthropy Day and on the fundraising and organizing committee for the Raising Change Social Justice Fundraising Conference. She has spoken on panels of social justice grant makers, nonprofit executive directors and environmental leaders. She serves on the Greenpeace Fund board of directors. "
