Kimberly Wiley is a nonprofit scholar, qualitative researcher, and experienced practitioner who writes about how organizations navigate crisis, power, and public funding. She teaches leadership, evaluation, and nonprofit management at the University of Florida, where she's won awards for innovative and online teaching. Her research, published in journals like Nonprofit Management & Leadership and Public Administration, explores the intersections of advocacy, funding, and gender”especially in organizations serving families and youth affected by violence. Kimberly has a passion for testing creative qualitative methods, from interviews to analyzing pop culture and social media. Before academia, she spent over a decade working in domestic violence shelters; training Florida's criminal justice system; and strengthening nonprofits through training, mentoring, and program support.
