Liz Vinson is an award-winning writer who has covered immigration for nearly a decade. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Alabama and has dedicated her career to amplifying immigrant voices through storytelling. Previously, Vinson worked at the Southern Poverty Law Center, where she wrote extensively on immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. Her work has been featured in leading publications across the country, where she has shared stories from immigrants who have been detained.
