Monica Cadena is an Afro-Indigenous plant ally, journalist, strategist, and the
communications & storytelling manager of the national EFOD (Equitable Food Oriented Development) Collaborative. In her work, she focuses on amplifying the work and voices of EFOD’s ecosystem while centering community healing through wealth equity and food sovereignty.
