Regina Brayboy serves as Executive Director of Healthy Suffolk, a nonprofit based in Suffolk, Virginia whose mission is to advance wellness and livability in her community. Her nonprofit experience spans over thirty years. In addition, she serves on the board of Riverside Health System, a nonprofit healthcare organization based in Newport News, Virginia. She is engaged in initiatives to improve the health of communities, including serving on a Virginia based statewide advisory committee, Partnering for a Healthy Virginia. She advocates for coalition-based approaches to improving communities and engaging at the grass roots level. In addition to healthcare, she has worked in multiple nonprofit sectors, thus bringing a wealth of experience and a broad lens to her work.
