Akinyi Rose is a young African feminist and community organizer leading girl-centered programs at the Resource Center for Women and Girls (RCWG). As part of her work, she creates spaces where girls can find their voice, exercise agency, and shape the decisions that affect their lives. Akinyi’s leadership is rooted in feminist practice, collective care, and the belief that girls are not beneficiaries of change but powerful leaders, knowledge-holders, and co-creators of the futures they want. She is committed to challenging the systems and norms that limit girls while building pathways for their ideas, leadership, and lived experiences to influence communities and beyond.
