Beth Couch grew up in the Deep South and has lived in Arkansas, Massachusetts, and Illinois. She currently resides in the Washington, DC area, where she is a Senior Writer on the Endowments and Foundations Advisory Services Team at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. Previously, she was an English professor, specializing in cultural theory and the nineteenth century, and taught writing and literature courses for over 10 years. Beth received both her MA and PhD from Boston College. She is a single mother who resides with her brilliant teenaged daughter.
