Candice Fortin

Candice Fortin is a political organizer, producer and consultant currently serving as the U.S. Campaigns Manager for 350.org, a global climate justice organization. She has worked on over 40 electoral campaigns all over the U.S. centering progressive candidates. Candice has also organized on various issue-based work around environmental justice, criminal justice, housing and immigration. She has been part of the core organizing teams for large-scale direct actions, including #Dec19, where she organized demonstrations in every state capital to protest the electoral college, the Dream 7 action for DACA protections which led to an 8 day prison and hunger strike, and the largest action to date outside of Rikers prison with over 400 people demanding accountability for the deaths inside the facility.
