Chastity Lord

Chastity Lord is the president and CEO of the Jeremiah Program (JP), an acclaimed organization founded in 1993 that disrupts generational poverty by supporting over 5,000 single mothers and their children across nine campuses. JP views poverty as a social justice issue, building infrastructure and civic power for single mothers to drive economic mobility. Chastity has spent two decades dismantling systems of inequity, informed by her experience as a first-generation college graduate. She previously held senior roles at Color of Change, Achievement First, and the Posse Foundation. She holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Northwestern University and is based in Washington, DC.
