Claire Axelrad, JD, is a fundraising visionary with more than 45 years of frontline development work. Claire was named Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and is principal and founder of Clairification, chief fundraising coach and resident expert for Bloomerang, and a regular contributor to NonProfitPRO, along with numerous fundraising and nonprofit marketing blogs. First CFRE-certified in 1987, Claire has taught a course that certifies professional fundraisers. Claire is a member of the California State Bar and lives in San Francisco.
