Cyrena Kokolis is an impact associate at Protect Democracy, where she conducts electoral reform advocacy and supports the organization’s civic engagement programming. Her work aims to advance PD’s vision of a more representative, responsive, and participatory democracy. Prior to joining Protect Democracy, Cyrena investigated domestic extremism and election subversion campaigns for a research organization focused on countering digital disinformation. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Conflict Resolution from The George Washington University.
