Emily Blank has a 25-year+ career working for community-based organizations in New York City. Her experience includes community organizing, fundraising, strategic planning, and data and evaluation. She currently serves as the deputy director of external affairs and strategy at Fifth Avenue Committee, a 48-year-old community development corporation based in Brooklyn, NY, whose mission is to advance economic, social, and racial justice in New York City through affordable housing; grassroots organizing; policy advocacy; and transformative education, training, and services.
