Kavitha Rajagopalan is the founding director of the Asian Media Initiative at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism's Center for Community Media, where she has produced the national AAPI Media Map & Directory and the accompanying report, AAPI News Media: Origins and Futures. Rajagopalan is an author and writer, whose work has appeared in many publications, including The New York Times, The Nation, and CNN.
