Kerrien Suarez is president and CEO of Equity In The Center, a fieldwide initiative to influence social sector leaders to shift mindsets, practices, and systems to achieve racial equity. In 2018, EIC published the influential report Awake to Woke to Work: Building a Race Equity Culture. Suarez is a management consultant with over 20 years of experience leading engagements to refine programs and scale impact for national nonprofits and philanthropies. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the London School of Economics and Political Science, and has been a fellow and lecturer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
