Mercedes Sanchez is the Executive Director of Cedar River Clinics in Washington State. She serves on the Board of the Abortion Care Network, the national association for independent community-based, abortion providers and their allies as well as participating in coalitions, taskforces, and other groups working to support and advance reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare. Mercedes is also a playwright, poet, and short story writer whose work often addresses social issues and human rights.
