Nikayla Jefferson is a writer and organizer. Previously, Nikayla held roles at One Earth Sangha and the Sunrise Movement. She’s a two-time graduate of UC Santa Barbara and holds a master’s degree in Political Science. Nikayla’s writing has been published in the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Guardian, Nation, and others. She’s a contributing writer for Yale Climate Connections, Board Vice President of the Rocky Mountain EcoDharma Retreat Center, and co-founder and Editorial Director of the Buddhist Eco-Chaplaincy Association.
