Born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC, Onyx Ramírez is a proud Dominican woman, artist, and writer who has been working in communications for the last seven years. Growing up, she realized that her joy comes from community, the beauty of nature, and creating authentic and vulnerable spaces for connection. She has dedicated her life's work to empowering and centering BIPOC folks and the LGBTQIA+ community and uplifting their stories. She joined the team at Black Farmer Fund as their Communications Lead in 2021.
