Takara T. Pierce (she/her) is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Black Alder and a senior media, narrative, and communications strategist known for positioning leaders and building narrative frameworks that pair long term vision with precise, responsive messaging. She served as Communications Director for the Dream Defenders during the 2020 racial reckoning. Her expertise spans ghostwriting, speechwriting, message architecture, and spokesperson development. Takara began her career at The Ohio State University's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and holds a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees in communications.
