Tamieka Atkins is the chief executive officer of ProGeorgia, a nonpartisan coalition of 61 organizations working across all 159 Georgia counties. She's led the coalition for nearly a decade, growing it from 13 partners and helping build Georgia's election protection work into a statewide operation. Before ProGeorgia, she founded the Atlanta chapter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance. She serves on the board of the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation and is a Certified Impact Philanthropy Advisor. In 2025 she received the Power Building Award from Grantmakers for Southern Progress.
