In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month (June), the NPQ team is sharing a collection of stories we’ve published that celebrate immigrant voices and power. The articles in this collection—largely written by immigrant authors—highlight political struggles but also lift up stories from the communities themselves—stories of business development, of organizing, of overcoming trauma from the home country, of placemaking, and of community building. In this collection, we celebrate a few of the many achievements made by immigrants and immigrant community groups, and acknowledge the many contributions that immigrants and immigrant communities have made to the United States as a whole.
