January 15, 2010; News & Observer | In NPQ’s regular coverage of mainstream general news outlets converting to nonprofits and going mostly or all online, we haven’t seen much news about outlets that cover the nonprofit sector itself. One of NPQ’s favorite online venues has been the Philanthropy Journal. Launched in 1993 by the News & Observer Foundation and published online exclusively since 1999, the Philanthropy Journal has been a publication of the Raleigh-headquartered A.J. Fletcher Foundation for several years but has now moved to North Carolina State University’s Institute for Nonprofits. We wish it well in its new home.—the Editors
